According to the Saudi Gazette, initially the Saudi government only allowed foreign employees from the education sector to return to the country. All foreign teachers and other employees from schools, colleges, universities and technical education institutions from 10 countries on the travel ban list are now allowed to return directly to Saudi Arabia.

It is also clarified here that foreign residency holders in the education sector who have not yet been vaccinated against coronavirus will be allowed to return to Saudi Arabia, but will have to undergo a 14-day quarantine upon arrival in the kingdom.

 At the same time, they will have to be vaccinated against any coronavirus approved by the Saudi government.
